Students who choose Tokyo International University as their next higher education can take the "TIUJ Recommendation Entrance Exam" in addition to the "International Student Entrance Exam". TIUJ Recommendation Entrance Exam has a much higher chance of admission than the International Student Entrance Exam, so please make use of this privilege that is only available to students who have enrolled at our school.
A major feature of TIUJ Recommendation Entrance Exam is that, students at our school can apply even if they have not yet passed N2 at the time of the first term entrance exam by receiving a certificate from our school's faculty that they are "expected to reach N2 or above by the time of university enrollment", whereas the "International Student Entrance Exam", which is held at the same time as the first term entrance exam, requires students to have passed N2 (JLPT) or above as a condition to apply.
Another major feature is that even if you are unable to obtain a recommendation letter from our school's principal at the time of the first term entrance exam, there is another chance in February for the second term entrance exam. While general applicants only have one International Student Entrance Exam per year, our school students have two chances.

Even if you have already graduated from a university in your home country, you can study at a Japanese university. This can be achieved by "Bachelor's Entrance" to Tokyo International University.
Many university graduates study Japanese at our school, but in order to improve your Japanese language skills to a business level, we recommend that you enroll in a university using "Bachelor's Entrance" and then study at the university for two more years after learning the basics of Japanese at our school. The reasons are that, the period of enrollment in a Japanese language educational institution is limited to a maximum of two years in Japan, and that university lectures not only allow you to learn specialized Japanese that is directly related to business, but also allow you to learn Japanese business etiquette and take qualification exams for employment.
When enrolling by "Bachelor's Entrance" to Tokyo International University (in the third year), the credits you have earned at the university you have already graduated from are certified as a lump sum (62 credits) rather than as individual subject-by-subject certification, so you can enroll in the faculty of your choice at Tokyo International University (a faculty of a different academic field from your degree) regardless of the faculty of your previous university.
Japanese Language School Affiliated with Tokyo International University has a recommendation system for "Bachelor's Entrance" to Tokyo International University, so please feel free to consult us.
For those who wish to learn more deeply, such as those who wish to improve their research skills in their major field of their university or faculty of study, or those who wish to acquire the skills to get a job that requires a high level of expertise, we recommend that you continue on to graduate school.
Our school also offers TIUJ Recommendation Entrance Exam for graduate school. If you want to enter Tokyo International University Graduate School, you can contact professors in your major field from even before the entrance exam and consult with them about selecting a research topic and entrance exam-related matters. In Japan, it is generally possible to contact university professors during open campuses for graduate school entrance exams, but it is rare for them to be available to consult with you at any time other than that. However, the professors who teach at Tokyo International University Graduate School are able to provide kind and careful consultations in advance to our students throughout the year, which will help to alleviate any anxiety you may have before enrolling.
