What lead you to study in Japan?

I want to find Japan-related jobs in Thailand, so I decided to study abroad in Japan.

What were your reasons for selecting our school?

I chose TIUJ because they offer both morning and afternoon courses as many other Japanese language schools do not so that I could learn more.

Did you find anything in particular shocking or difficult once you actually enrolled in school?

At first I didn’t understand any Japanese at all, so living in Japan was a bit of a struggle. However once I started getting the hang of the language, life in Japan became very fun for me.

Do you have any memories from when you were in school?

I made a lot more friends, and studying with students that come from many parts of the world was an excellent experience.

What do you do now? Are the things you learned and experienced here at school proving useful in your life now?

Currently I am studying international relations at Tokyo International University.

Please tell us something you like about Japan.

I really like Japanese food. Whatever I eat, it’s delicious!

After studying here, was there anything about Japan or Japanese people that you found shocking?

Japanese summer festivals are really interesting and exciting.

Please tell us about a place or store that you often go to in Japan.

I often go to bars in Ueno.
