On Tuesday, July 14, 2026, the 2026 Takayama International Education Foundation Scholarship Award Ceremony was held at the Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo.
This scholarship provides 130,000 yen per month for 12 months—a total of 1.56 million yen—to students who excel both academically and personally and who plan to pursue higher education in Japan after graduation.
This year, two students—WAI YAN from HTET (Myanmar) and EVAN LUCIUS (Indonesia)—were awarded the scholarship.
