For current students[First-come, first-served] Call for Participants: Noh Theater Appreciation Workshop on Saturday, June 27
For students scheduled to graduate from the Japanese language school in March 2027, we will hold a Noh theater appreciation class as part of the curriculum on Thursday, June 25.
There is no need to register separately for school events. The events listed below are optional activities held separately from school events.
To All Students (This invitation is extended to both university and Japanese language school students)
The Institute of Japanese Culture is recruiting participants for a "Noh Appreciation Workshop" as part of our program to experience Japanese culture.
During the workshop, participants will receive commentary interspersed with live performances by the artists, followed by a viewing of classic Noh and Kyogen plays. Why not take this opportunity to experience the world of Noh and Kyogen?
*Please note that commentary will not be provided in English.
Date and Time: Saturday, June 27, 2026, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM (tentative)
Venue: National Noh Theatre (Nearest Station: JR “Sendagaya” Station)
Fee: Workshop participation fee: 1,6000 yen (prepayment required) * Transportation costs to the venue are the responsibility of each participant
